Cross-platform app development
When the same application has to reach staff and customers on both platforms, a shared codebase gets you there in one project rather than two. It suits form-driven, data-driven and workflow applications where the interface matters more than deep platform-specific hardware access.
What this involves
We are candid about when this approach fits and when it does not, and that judgement is part of the discovery session rather than something decided by a sales conversation. Where it fits, one team builds one codebase, releases to both stores and maintains a single set of business logic, which keeps later change requests considerably cheaper. Development runs in cycles with builds distributed to your testers on both platforms at the same time. We handle both store submissions, each with its own privacy and rating requirements, and hand over a repository your team or a future supplier can pick up without specialist knowledge of an in-house framework.

Timelines and pricing
Timelines and pricing are quoted per project after a discovery call. The estimate follows the discovery call and covers the scope, the stages and the payment schedule, so there is nothing to sign before you have seen it in writing.
Questions about cross-platform app development
Will a cross-platform app feel slower than a native one?
For the kind of applications businesses commission — forms, lists, dashboards, scheduling, stock and reporting — the difference is not something users notice. It becomes noticeable in graphics-heavy products, continuous camera processing and games. If your product falls into that group we will say so and recommend native development instead.
Can we start cross-platform and move to native later?
Yes, and the way the project is structured makes that easier. We keep business rules and API handling separate from the interface layer, so a later native build reuses the specification, the design and the server-side work rather than starting from nothing.
Does one codebase mean one store submission?
No. Apple and Google review independently, each with its own listing, privacy declaration and rating questionnaire. The build is shared; the release process is done twice, and both are included in the project.
